How to Participate

Step 1: Register Register as an Individual or Join or Start a Team on our Canada Helps campaign page.

Step 2: Set Up Your Fundraising Page Once registered, you’ll have a personal fundraising page to share with friends, family, and colleagues. Share it widely and watch the support roll in.

Step 3: Fundraise Every donation you collect brings us closer to our $65,000 goal. Share your page by email, text, and social media. Need ideas or help? Check out our fundraiser toolkit here.


Event Details

Date: Saturday, June 14, 2026 

Schedile: 

Meet and Kickoff: 10:00 am 

Hike: 11:00 am

BBQ: 12:00 to 2:00 pm

Start Location: Hospice House, 621 Churchill Row, Fredericton, NB 

Route: From Hospice House, across the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge to the Station House and back 

After the Hike: BBQ with prizes for top fundraising teams and individuals and live music from the Montgomery Street Band.


Can’t Make It In Person? Hike Your Way.

You don’t have to be in Fredericton to be part of Hike for Hospice. Hike wherever you are, whenever it works for you, any time before June 14th. Register here and your fundraising still counts.

About Hospice Fredericton

Hospice Fredericton provides excellence in end-of-life care and bereavement support to patients and families coping with advanced illness, death, and grief. All programs and services are offered completely free of charge to individuals in the Fredericton and surrounding areas.

Since opening in 2016, we have had the honour of serving over 1,400 patients and their loved ones. Events like Hike for Hospice are essential to keeping our care accessible to everyone who needs it. Hospice Fredericton: Community Centre, Family Focused, Compassion, and Dignity.
